WELCOME

In the midst of the Uncle Sam's Nu-metal onslaught comes Britain's repost. A dark and brooding movement consisting of fundamental raw hip-hop and drum n' bass beats, twisted jazz bridges and explosive riffs all laced with the only death-going-eyeball-to-eyeball-with-rap vocals spitting on the block. Enter the epicentre, the word on the street is…..Flict have arrived.

The handle "Flict" is taken from the slang "Ticked" (or when something has been purchased 'on tick') meaning yet to be paid for. It was chosen 'cause the band felt as though their achievements had not been earned. They have not yet put work or effort into their creation, they're just having a good time, but have emerged with something special. Branding themselves as 'Flict' means that they owe, and it is a vow to repay their debt, by putting hard work and dedication into what they got for free. To aim high and to take Flict as far as it can go, and further. The 5 piece animal was created in '97 in West London after alcohol-fuelled rehearsals turned serious.

After winning the battle of the bands at the Garage, Highbury corner in 2002 they have gone from strength to strength playing at countless venues in and around London. They also toured from London to Glasgow in 2002 performing within the metal hammer tours.

They have been received by all with excitement and awe at their unique style and fluid sound.

2003 was a tragic year as Flict lost a band member, best friend and brother, known to many as Dr Jim.

Since then, the band has remerged in 2005 with even greater dedication rehearsing and writing in preparation to unleash their explosive sound in 2005
